        CasaBlanca was suspense filled on the edge of your seat action, with a touch of patriotism. It was a really quick paced movie except for the scenes with Isla and Richard which I felt was meant for them to rekindle there love for each other. This movie gives you a good idea of how the Germans used tyrannical power in order to gain power wherever they so pleased. This in turn lead to many people fleeing Nazi controlled Europe in order to seek a better life in Casablanca. This is where Lazlo comes into play, being the leader of the resistance. Lazlo as well as Rick even though extremely stubborn at first and selfish symbolizes good overcoming evil. This movie is very symbolic being that they wanted to make a difference in society and they very much did just that.

        Casablanca was produced at an astonishing final cost of $950,000. This included $20,000 that was paid for the rights to un-produced play called “Everybody comes to Rick’s” which was a great deal considering that movie churned out a whopping $3,700,000 during the first year of its release. Overall Casablanca was a success however they had not known before the national release how successful it would be but they had struck gold in the end. {http://www.tcm.com/tcmdb/title/610/Casablanca/articles.html}

        In conclusion, I found Casablanca to be quite entertaining with all its drama filled scenes. Even though its not my favorite out of the list it was still quite interesting. I would definitely recommend this movie being that its enlisted as a classic and its not a total bore. It’s quite fast paced and suspenseful which keeps the viewer watching. I give it 4 stars.
