The Godfather goes down as one of my favorite movies of all time along with Scarface. Preferably I enjoy watching crime filled action packed movies. The Godfather hands down is one of the greatest Mafioso flicks of all time. Everyone has had to have seen it and if not need to. What makes this movie so good is that it is gruesome in certain areas but the movie itself is classy. It also keeps you on the edge of your seat with dramatic turn of events which keeps your eyes glued to the screen.
The Godfather was made on a 6 million dollar budget. It was also nominated for 11 Oscars, winning three of them. The movie overall had made a substantial amount of money which consisted of making $101 million for Paramount within 18 weeks of its release. The Godfather was obviously a great success. {
In conclusion, if you have not seen this movie I strongly encourage you to do so. That is if your into the whole violence and crime genre. This is definitely one of my favorite classics and I can literally watch this movie over and over. This movie certainly get 5 stars in my book. A must watch!
